In addition to his role as the U10 Girls Coach, Mike Coppinger also serves as Summit FC’s Club President, providing exceptional leadership and promoting the club and its mission throughout the Rutland region and beyond.  Mike’s soccer career began when he was a three-year starter as a goalie at Rutland High School in Rutland, VT.  He was appointed team captain his senior year.  Mike graduated from the College of St. Joseph in Rutland, where he was a 2-year starter on the soccer team.  In 2008, he was inducted in the CSJ Athletic Hall of Fame.  He has been heavily involved in youth soccer through the Rutland Parks and Recreation Department for over 20 years, helping develop the Saturday morning soccer program for children ages 4 through 8.

Mike is also involved with the Rutland High School girls varsity soccer team, serving as assistant coach for 20+ years.  In addition, he has been a coach in the SummitFC program coaching at the U10, U11, and U12 levels.
